Mammothon 2019

October 16-November 1, 2019

This month, local Ontario Breast Cancer Screening Program (OBSP) imaging sites are encouraging women between the ages of 50-74 to book an appointment during Mammothon, a two-week blitz aimed at providing mammograms to women who have never been screened.

During Mammothon, participating sites make it easier and more relaxing for women who may have put off screening out of fear or because of a lack of time, by making some walk-in appointments available and creating a celebratory atmosphere.
14 OBSP sites in the region are participating and taking appointments now.
No doctor referral is required if you are between the ages of 50-74 and have no symptoms, and it’s free.
